Moving Upside down: The Joy in Safe Practise.
This class is suitable to beginners, those new to Iyengar yoga and those who’ve been practicing with me for the year. We will continue to build on the building blocks in an asana (postural) practise challenging our strength, balance, proprioception, flexibility and alignment- undoing habits and uncovering your self! We will prepare the body and mind to explore headstand and shoulder stand- King and Queen of a balanced nervous system and integral to the Iyengar system of yoga practise. Have no fear! We also explore safe alternatives to these poses which offer all the benefits. Some specific pranayama (breath awareness) will be explored as the class progresses. * Please let me know if you are working with any medical conditions or injuries.

Tuesday and Thursday mornings 9-10:15 am, ongoing until June 23rd.
Suitable to beginners and those developing an Iyengar practice. This is an excellent class to start your day: energize, strengthen and align body, mind and spirit.

* It is advised that you aim to commit to regular classes to keep up your learning and feel the benefits of progressing- but it is understood that this isn’t always an option. These passes can be used flexibly for any combination of the Monday evening classes and Tuesday and Thursday morning classes.
