I am looking forward to connecting with students for Iyengar yoga classes Tuesdays and Thursdays at The Saltair Community Centre next week and welcome new students to join these classes.
Iyengar Yoga Foundations
When: Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 9-10:15 am starting January 7th
Where: Saltair Community Centre Gym.
What do I need: Arrive 5 mins early to set up with provided props, bring a mat if you have one. If not I always have extras. Choose comfortable clothing, moveable clothing and have a layer for the final work in the class which is cooling.
These Iyengar Yoga classes are suitable for ongoing students, beginners of yoga or those new to Iyengar yoga. We will continue to work on improving balance, strength, flexibility, mobility, postural alignment, proprioception and breath awareness, ultimately fostering connection to our deepest selves through this rich practice. Iyengar yoga instructors train for a minimum of 3-5 years and undergo the most rigorous yoga certification process in the country to offer quality yoga teaching to every body.
**As with all physical exercise it is advisable if you have any heath concerns you confirm with a doctor that it is safe to practice and go over your considerations with me before your first class.
Connect with me via email below to purchase an 8 class pass for $110. This pass can be used for any combination of Tuesday, Thursday morning classes. It is advisable to commit to a minimum of one to two classes a week to build the benefits of the practice, but I make the passes flexible to accommodate life schedules! (etransfer, cheque or cash on your first class is acceptable).
